Welcome to La Ferme Du Châtaignier, a family home steeped in history since 1920, located in Boissy-le-Sec, Essonne, just an hour from Paris, Versailles, Orleans, Fontainebleau and Chartres.
Corinne and Sébastien will give you a warm welcome and will be delighted to show you around their beautiful region.
a 4-generation legacy
Deeply attached to her roots and the house where she spent most of her childhood, in 2014 Corinne undertook the restoration of the former farmhouse dwelling. Built on 2 and 3 levels, with beautiful proportions, it is constructed of local stone. The old materials and existing structure have been carefully preserved and restored. Once a vegetable garden, the private walled garden has become a peaceful, bucolic setting.
La Ferme du Châtaigner is now part of a new story. The house has become an elegant and comfortable gîte. This beautiful accommodation has been awarded the Meublé de Tourisme 4* label.
